Italian Winter Salad
Cranberries, blue cheese and hearts of palm go into Nicola Gilardi's Italian winter salad.

Serves 4. Best paired with Lamarca Prosecco. Recipe by Nicola Gilardi of Nicola's Ristorante.
Ingredients
6 cups butter lettuce
½ cup cranberries
½ cup warm salted pecans
⅓ cup purple onion, thinly sliced
⅓ cup blue cheese
⅓ cup hearts of palm, cut in half-inch size pieces
¼ cup olive oil
Pinch kosher salt
To Prepare
Toss the lettuce, cranberries, pecans, onions, blue cheese and hearts of palm in a large bowl. Add olive oil and a pinch of kosher salt. Lightly toss, then serve.
