When you drive to Branson, it’s easy to get lost in the beauty of the landscape around you and the small town charm of the city’s tourist destinations. But you might miss the real heart of the town itself—the sense of community, hospitality and creativity. This is the part of Branson Me’Lissa Clarkson and Cortney Allen, owners of B-Town Threads, wanted to share through their colorful line of B-Town Local Apparel T-shirts. You can find a range of comfy tees featuring typography and inspired designs—like the “Downtown” tee, featuring the Branson skyline, or the “Heart of B-Town” tee with its sketch of Lake Taneycomo Bridge.
The designs channel a sense of homespun pride and are made to work with whatever outfit you put together, whether you’re pairing it with jeans or your favorite skirt. If you’re not a Branson local, you can shop from the brand’s Shine On Collection or Missouri Collection to find the perfect tee, while giving back to the community as you shop. Each purchase of a B-Town Local Apparel tee, a portion of the proceeds goes directly toward local nonprofit charities caring for the Branson community. The shirts provide a bit of community connection, as people around town wear them and show off some local pride. At the helm of the store, both owners want to shine a light on the rich community that makes Branson special and inspire others through creativity. The duo’s designs channel the history and the character of what Clarkson describes as “a small town with a big heart.”
