Top Shelf Margarita from Little Hacienda

I love warm evenings with yummy libations and a Missouri sunset. My latest discovery is the covered patio at Little Hacienda in Branson (3375 Little Pete Road, Branson, 417-335-2008). It is spacious with comfy furniture, a fire pit and views of rolling hills and city lights. Bar manager Matt Wilson recommends the Top Shelf Margarita. It comes in fruity flavors, frozen or on ice; I ordered a lime margarita on the rocks. The drink balances tartness and sweetness. Patrón Silver is smooth with a peppery finish, and it is paired with Patrón Citrónge to get that juicy lime taste. Wilson squeezes lime juice into the shaker along with agave nectar and a splash of orange juice before he shakes it up then pours it into my 25-ounce glass. A 45-ounce glass is an option as well—if you bring someone special to sip the night away with!
