Nestled inside the original MaMa Jean’s Natural Market, Jean’s Healthway, in Ava is VanDeli (133 S. Jefferson St., Ava)—a farm-to-deli and preservatory concept that opened in March. Kaycee Vandelicht and her partner Travis Barry started developing the restaurant last November with a goal to make the farm-to-table concept more approachable. “Our menu is seasonally driven with worldly, inspired dishes and a little Ozarks flair,” Vandelicht says. The menu bursts with creative sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps and sweet treats all to be enjoyed regardless of dietary restrictions. The pink and green-decorated deli is open Tue.–Fri. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Packaged products and grab and go bites can be purchased from a case at Jean’s Healthway, too.
