Summer Nights Sipping with Harvest Restaurant

In my old age, with two kids at home, and with a social life that leans more “board games with friends” than “wild parties,” I’ve become a lightweight. I occasionally enjoy a stout cocktail as much as the next person, but I find myself preferring drinks that fall more in the refreshing category. That’s why I am so deeply in love with the supremely sippable Daredevil Quilted Lemonade from Harvest Restaurant (8011 E. State Highway AD, Rogersville). It’s only a tiny bit sweet, made with Ozark Mountain Daredevils Ozark Dry Gin, fresh thyme, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, lemon juice, club soda and a slice of gin-soaked lemon. It was the perfect sip during an anniversary dinner with my husband, Eli, as we enjoyed a cool night breeze blowing in off the Sunshine Valley Farm apple orchard as we dined on the restaurant’s screened-in porch. (Screened in means all the Ozarks charm, none of the Ozarks mosquitoes.) And we’ll be back for more.
