For the Fish and Chips

Farmers Gastropub
The battered Icelandic cod paired with fries and mushy peas is a match made in heaven.

Downing Street Pour House
While the Pacific cod is obviously the main draw of this dish, the tartar sauce steals the show.

For the Catfish

Georgia Mac’s
Order the fried catfish, served with fries, jalapeno hush puppies and coleslaw, so you’ll leave full.

Flat Creek Restaurant
The catfish here is some of the most perfectly fried we’ve ever tried. Make sure you douse it with some of Flat Creek’s homemade garlic hot sauce.

Mama G’s Kitchen
Gloria Hairston doesn’t hold back on the seasonings with this dish, and she even makes her own signature blends for it. She adds seasonings not only to the corn meal breading but also to the catfish itself.

For the Shareables

Vantage Rooftop Lounge and Conservatory
Trust us when we say you haven’t lived until you’ve tried the smoked fish dip at Vantage. The tuna conserva will also be a hit among your friends with the bright flavors of lemon and pickled peppers.

For the Fellowship

Immaculate Conception
Every Friday through Lent, Immaculate Conception hosts a fish fry from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
