About OMB
Founded in 1999, OMB, formally Old Missouri Bank, is a locally-owned, independent organization based in Springfield, Missouri. At OMB, they’re committed to excellence in service. As a local community bank, they value relationships with customers and treat them as individuals, not as account numbers. OMB strives to offer excellent service and great products at competitive rates. OMB focuses on old-fashioned customer support by getting to know you and your banking needs. Then they infuse their old-fashioned support with new technologies to give you the best banking experience possible.
OMB offers services such as mobile banking, online banking for businesses and individuals, Merchant Capture, and Bill Pay, OMB’s online bill payment system.
Positively impacting this community and the individuals who call 417 home is not only OMB’s passion—it’s their purpose.
Since its inception in 1999, OMB has had strong women in leadership. For example, June Wilson served as OMB’s CFO, paving the way for women to lead the bank. Now in her retirement, she continues to lead and serve, actively assisting in special projects. She is now celebrating her 50th year in banking. Alongside June’s leadership, Sheila Wyant, Vice President of Deposit Operations, has had a pivotal role at OMB for 13 years. Sheila led their deposit operations team through incredible growth and acquisition. As you can see in the photo, OMB has a host of female Vice Presidents and truly sets the bar for the banking industry, demonstrating what is possible with women leaders.
With diversity comes more ideas and innovation—not only through inclusive gender, but also by elevating young professionals within the organization. OMB has a number of young professionals in key leadership positions who make their bank better every day.
OMB is only successful if the businesses and individuals they serve are successful, so they work every day to support the success of the southwest Missouri community!
