Lisa Heiman has been working in the architectural drafting field for over 20 years.

Her primary focus in this business is residential drafting and home design. Since she was a child, her heart has been in residential design and problem solving space and use issues. She began her career as an architectural drafter in 2001 after completing her associate drafting degree from Vatterott. A few years later she went back to school where she continued to worked full time and took on a full time course work at Missouri State University. While in college, she joined an Phi Sigma Pi, a co-ed honors fraternity, participated in many school competitions, and was captain of a few competitions. Her senior year she participated in an undergraduate research study commissioned by the local CSI chapter analyzing building performance as it relates to energy consumption. She received her BS degree in Construction Management from Missouri State University in 2008.

Lisa has been building her drafting business in 2007 and has worked primarily in the residential field. Occasionally she will also take on other contract drafting jobs commissioned by architects and structural engineers. Commercial work can be fun and Lisa has an eye for detail. Her education in Construction Management has provided her a unique perspective to add to her professional drafting and design experience in both the commercial and residential industries.

While her professional experience has lead her to be technically minded, she also enjoys the challenge of creative design.
