Movin’ on Up
From baked goods, mushrooms and duck eggs at the market to a brick-and-mortar on Commercial Street, Blue Heron Farm & Bakery is moving on up! The little purveyor of fresh bread, beautiful baked sweets and farm-fresh produce recently announced that they are opening a bakery-cafe-espresso bar on Commercial Street in Springfield, where you'll be able to dig into the good stuff all week long. The open date is set for sometime this fall, so we’ll keep you posted as soon as we know more. We can’t wait to dig in!
Guess Who’s Back?
It's back! Brick & Mortar Coffee has been missing from our coffee-loving routines since 2020, but as of this week, the coffee shop will be re-opened with brand new staff (including new owner Jon Marsh and drink-crafter Carter Maize) a brand new menu and some brand-new energy. Thursday, September 1 marks the coffee shop’s grand re-opening, and they'll be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. slinging some seriously good brews. After that, you can swing by their 1666 E. Saint Louis St. location Tuesdays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hot tip: You can also buy Brick & Mortar beans at Walmarts in Springfield, Branson and St. Louis if home brewing is more your thing.
