Fuel Fresh American Grill Revs Up
If you tend to work up an appetite from all the exhilarating activities at The Track Family Fun Parks, we have some good news for you. The Fuel Fresh American Grill is now opening and offering all sorts of fun foods such as barbecue nachos smothered in queso, black beans, jalapeños, pico de gallo, barbecue pork or chicken, melted cheddar, barbecue sauce, sour cream and guacamole! There are also big juicy burgers, smoked wings, loaded fries and rotating beers on tap from all of your favorite local breweries.
Thai Express Gets New Digs
We’ve been waiting for this one for a while, but the date is finally here. Thai Express by Simply Thai will be having a grand opening on Thursday April 21. This is a place with true fans that don’t miss a week without their favorite noodle dish or seasoned rice bowl, and now there is much more to come. On April 8, the old location on Glenstone Avenue closed its doors for the last time so the staff could get ready for the big move into the new restaurant, located at 2113 West Republic Road. The menu will keep most of the top favorites but will also be adding a few new concepts.
Not’Cho Ordinary Taco Goes to Nixa
We love seeing food trucks glow up into brick-and-mortar locations. The team behind Not’Cho Ordinary Taco is moving into the highly anticipated 14 Mill Market in Nixa, a food hall and lifestyle experience project that will bring lots of delicious food and beverage vendors into one place for the ultimate foodie trip. This food truck is known for unique tacos such as teriyaki steak tacos made with teriyaki glazed sirloin steak, melted cheddar cheese, lettuce tomato and bacon aioli. Or the Caesar the Tuna, blackened yellowfin tuna, lettuce, tomato, red onion, Caesar dressing and feta cheese. We can’t wait to see them slinging their tacos at 14 Mill Market!
Houlihan’s Turns 50
This Kansas City restaurant chain is celebrating 50 years in the foodservice industry. It started as a men’s clothing store called Tom Houlihan’s Mens Wear, it then changed into Houlihan’s Old Place as it transitioned into the world of food. Later it dropped the “Old Place,” and here they are now. To celebrate their big birthday, Houlihan’s is serving a dish from the past every Thursday from now until August. They’re calling it Throwback Thursdays. Here are a few coming up starting this week: Frito burger, steak and romaine salad, tuna wonton nacho, jalapeño stuffer, and the list goes on. Go taste some Houlihan’s history!
