Main Street Lake Cruises

7 N. Boardwalk, Branson, 417-239-3980

Why We Love It: Take your love to Lake Taneycomo for a romantic ceremony on the water. From the “I dos” to the brews, private cruises are a fun and intimate way to celebrate a happily ever after. Plus, a full-service bar on board keeps the party moving.

Added Bonus: Captains don’t just drop anchor before the ceremony begins. You can say your vows while docked or while sailing aboard the Lake Queen paddleboat.

Price Range: prices vary for private events

Number of guests it can hold: 100 guests

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park

2038 MO 86, Lampe, 417-779-5983

Why We Love It: Tucked in a ridge just south of Branson sits Dogwood Canyon, a 10,000-acre natural preserve. For couples looking to elope, the glistening Glory Hole and Thunder Falls waterfalls are epic backdrops. For traditional brides, the park’s romantic and rustic Hope Wilderness Chapel features wooden pews and perfect views of one of the park’s waterfalls.

Added Bonus: No matter where you say “I do,” the park’s Creekside Pavilion and Chuckwagon reception sites are cozy and rustic spaces for up to 100 guests.

Price Range: $500–800 to elope, $1,800 for the chapel, $2,100 for the chapel and reception site.

Number of guests it can hold: 25–100

The Fireplace Room at 319

324 S. Campbell Ave., Springfield, 417-379-6745

Why We Love It: 319 Downtown’s more petite Fireplace Room is a quaint space for a small affair. Exposed brick, high pressed tin ceilings and a working stone fireplace lend to the space’s charming interior.

Added Bonus: Guests have access to a shared outdoor patio, and this cozy venue includes access to an audio/visual system for toasts and tunes.

Price Range: $500–800 for venue rental

Number of guests it can hold: 100 for a ceremony, 60 for a reception

Treetop Chapel

1320 Keithley Road, Walnut Shade, 417-443-0036

Why We Love It: At the end of a wooded path sits Treetop Chapel, a small wooden church. Oak trees and the Ozark Mountains surround this extra-small church, and couples stand before a fireplace as they pledge their love.

Added Bonus: Year-round, the stunning grounds and gardens surrounding this intimate chapel provide dozens of locations for photos before and after the ceremony.

Price Range: $599 for a ceremony, $2,195 for a complete wedding day, including officiant, food, photography and a cake.

Number of guests it can hold: 35 guests for a ceremony
