"We got married in June, during what might have been one of the hottest days of the year. My wonderful bride and photographer were dead set on taking pictures outside. I was sweating so bad that it started to come through the outside of my suit jacket. Our photographer found this old building with an attic that was not used for anything. Anyway, there was no air conditioning in this old abandoned ballroom so it was about 3,424 degrees. I could have gone down at any moment, but I stuck it out. Turned out to be one of the best parts of the wedding. It was a time for my wife and I to joke around and have fun, and to take our mind off of things for a while. Definitely worth the near death experience!” —Nicholas Griffin
“Seeing Nikki for the first time during our first look session.” —Jordan Kinder
“Angela and I exchanged small gifts shortly before the wedding and I received a note, a watch that I wear every day, and a grape soda cap pin like the one from the movie Up. These are all things that I cherish dearly and will always keep with me.”—Bradley Stillwagon
“A special moment for me was when her father brought her down the aisle; it brought an overwhelming sense of amazement. We’ve known each other for 4 years, which feels like forever, but suddenly I realized that we’ve already had 20 more years of history that brought us to this moment that also felt like forever. Somehow my mind settled on the image of us on a porch bench at our beach house at 85, holding hands, and that even though 24 years have gone by in an instant, the next 60+ will too and she’s the only one I want to spend it with.” —Michael Danner
