You Could #417betheone

In 417-land, that is. Take a picture at the new 417 sign and show some community pride with the hashtag #417betheone.

Have you noticed the giant four and seven numbers with a conspicuously absent one just off Chestnut Expressway and Boonville Avenue? They were put there by the Downtown Springfield Community Improvement District (CID). The reason the number one is missing? Because it’s you! Or me. Or any one of us. This is #417betheone, introduced by the CID and perfectly placed for pics in front of the historic City Hall. Take a look at some of the snaps people have already taken (including a couple of familiar faces) and don’t forget to post your own with the hashtag #417betheone.
